Pro Per Litigation is PROPER litigation for the following reasons:

". . . the right to file a lawsuit pro se is one of the most important rights under the constitution and laws." (Elmore v. McCammon (1986) 640 F.Supp. 905,911) (see more);

Pro se litigants bring honesty instead of falseness into the courts because they and their witnesses usually haven't been coached by a lawyer what to say (see more);

The "Good Old Boys Club" of lawyers and judges (often their former law office partners) breeds corruption (see more);

Pro se litigants enrich the law by raising controversial issues which lawyers are reluctant to do (see more);

The lawyer is a "hired gun" - paid money by one stranger to go into court and slander another stranger. By employing a lawyer, feuds, charges, malevolence and slander are encouraged - therefore, refusing to litigate via a lawyer is a superior moral and ethical decision (see more);

Pro se litigation was the rule rather than the exception in early American history. Lawyers were actually banned outright or faced tight restrictions in many colonies for much of the 18th century. Most states enforced few if any restrictions on non-lawyers appearing in court on behalf of others — as Lincoln himself did before he talked a judge into granting him attorney status. The American Bar Association convinced states to pass "unauthorized practice of law" statutes in the 1920s and 1930s, which effectively gave lawyers a monopoly over the sale of legal information (see more);

In the last two decades many Americans have begun to assert their historical and constitutional right to participate in the legal decisions that affect their lives.
